you can change size, glow and shadow not directly but with a workaround. use track pan/crop for that.
you cant change a font without external scripts

there was a guy here, he said “stop complaining about sony vegas, if it crashes – fix your pc”. i disagree with that in full. SV 11 and SV 12 are nothing but crashes for so many users. There are many equally complex applications that can run smooth on any computer. If SV crashes and all other applications work perfect I expect sony to produce tough enough application that wouldn’t crush at any tiniest system error or incompatibility.
BUT after that too long starter i got to say that i disagree with you now. If your vegas doesn’t accept WAV files, try to reinstal it and if that continues – your system is in mess. all editing programs accept wavs. it is a rock firm base. this time – sorry – check your system.
    .
and of course zoom recorders output also other formats like mp3, so check your zoom manual too.

  • the answer is “yes and no”
i did and i didnt resolve the problem, both at the same time. which means: i don’t know what kind of a glitch this is and no one seem to know it here in this forum. so how i resolved the issue? due to constant crashes and general f**k up with SV11 i just got rid of that crap. I am a happy SV10 user and that is gonna stay like that. I am not interested in new fixes for SV11, i don’t even come close to SV 12, i am not awaiting SV 13. While sth works fine, why to exchange it with sth that doesn’t work at all?

    All the best

  • sorry to hear that. all i can advise is… with god’s help finish this project somehow and install SV10. it is the most stable version i know. i had nothing but crashes with 11, i don’t care about 12 and i am not even thinking about 13.
just now i am working on a huge project on SV 10, i have some rare crashes but i am pretty sure they come from memory as i am having 1300 medias in my bins. in small projects it is rock steady. occasionally, really rare i have crashes coming from plugins. someone said here to all complaining on sv11, and 12 about crashes “cut that crap and get your system in order”. I disagree. I understand a faulty system when it fails completely, gives me bluescreeens or doesn’t open. if all my other applications even equally complicated work perfectly well on my system, i expect SV to work more or less that way. If I got constant crashes from SV on a system which works perfect with other complex apps I will address my beefs to sony, not to microsoft, i don’t see any reason why wouldn’t i expect to be SV crash-proof. I expect I pay for a program which is not hyper sensitive to any misalignments with the system. Others can produce those and I want sony to work the same way.

  • firstly i hate programs that don’t work the way i want them to work,or the way they are supposed to work.

secondly i usually have markers in my projects that i want to keep only in this project and i don’t want them to become chapter markers in dvdarchitect.
it doesn’t hurt much. as in the subject: tiny little thing. but it is good. it means my vegas works really good if i have nothing worse to nug about. oh yes it really does indeed

  • i dont want them, i keep unchecking and they are always checked with the next render…

I am not sure, i don’t use prerendering at all but I think it should work like you say. When you prerender parts of the project and the final render is in exactly the same format as prerenders and you didn’t touch what you prerendered, the final render should be much faster as it would only render what wasn’t prerendered and only-rewrite previously prerended parts.

  • I stayed with sony vegas 10 and i am not going to touch any new updates. i don’t give a thing. 10 is the last version for me that works fine. 11 was a disaster. i am not even going to try 12.

  • get x64 and be happy using all your machine’s memory power. x32 applications can use only… 4? i guess it is 4 gb of memory. they just can’t see more. switching to x64 you can boost on whatever you have.

  • I assume that because your name sounds english, your surname sounds english, you don’t make grammar errors in your texts and there is a name just below your photo in your profile description saying “nashville ts”. I am pretty sure your native language is english.

the other post has so much to do with vegas as it concerns comparison of rendering times in sony vegas.

please i don’t really want to make enemies. i am a bit rough, simple, ironic person. that is why i am sometime a bit soar. i really am grateful for your efforts. thank you. i said before – don’t be so stiff, so serious. laugh at me and with me and be happy.
