whenever i hit “render” i have “save project markers in media file” box switched to ON by default. this really drives me crazy. any idea where to rummage to make it default OFF?

I don’t think there is any such preset, but there’s no harm in allowing the markers.

    That’s really odd – I don’t!

I wish there was a setting because I want my markers saved by default. I did some testing and it appears that the “Save Markers” is “sticky”. that is, if you checked “Save Markers” when you last “rendered”, then the next time you go to “Render As”, it will still be checked.

In my case it remember the last setting. What I am curious about is, why is it a problem to save the markers?

firstly i hate programs that don’t work the way i want them to work,or the way they are supposed to work.

secondly i usually have markers in my projects that i want to keep only in this project and i don’t want them to become chapter markers in dvdarchitect.
it doesn’t hurt much. as in the subject: tiny little thing. but it is good. it means my vegas works really good if i have nothing worse to nug about. oh yes it really does indeed
