    Youtube can be 24,25 or 30 fps. 1280 x 720 (max).

Bitrate from yuotube’s player something like 1.5-2.0 Mbps (HD).

So there is no need for more than 1-pass 5.0 Mbps rendering quality.

Preview is rendered quality. The more filters you use, the more pc power will you need.
You may allowe for more RAM to be used for preview.
You do have several options, chose the one your system can operate smooth.
Project property “Match input” will speed up preview, but may give black bars.
Chance to “match output” before rendering.

I should set project property to match output, then you will see how it looks when preview, and also get no suprises of black bars.

1270×720 will be the closest to SD.

If you set tha project property to a HD template, and render as DVD, you will have black bars.

If you are to use pan/crop “match output…”, project property must be set to “output”.

Project property 8-bit/32-bit/64-bit will not be changed when rendering. But DVD 8-bit rendering will change the color from what you see on a PC monitor.

Your youtube video is as good as you get it.
It’s important to pan slow due to downscale of bitrate at youtube.
