Doing some online video (640×480, most are around 12-15 mins) and want have a decent resolution with fairly quick loading time so that the video won’t stop when during playback.

I’m not as familiar with compression as I thought and have been trying to render and get a decent looking footage with a small file size. I need to learn this more but now I’m against a deadline to get some video ready.

what rendering settings does everyone here use for online video?

I have sorenson squeeze 5 but not sure which preset to use in there either. I have tried a few and ss5 takes so long to render.

    thanks again

I would think that mpeg4 is what is used mostly for things like Youtube.
