Definitely rocks on the G5- you can see both processors working on separate parts of the image. On a quad core I’d imagine you’d see all 4. Can’t wait for that. With 3 Quad cores you’d have a twelve processor renderfarm!

That seems to be the prevailing opinion- too bad. I’ve heard there were rumblings of development of a Vray version for C4D- that would rock. Sounds like a great renderer.

With the DV Garage option plugin Motion 2 becomes a lot more capable with green screen. Still it’s first and foremost for motion graphics. Green screen compositing is better in After Effects, Combustion, Shake, etc.

I think I’ll try baking it to avoid the hit in render time of that much AA. Thanks for the help!

You can certainly rip with any number of commercial, shareware or freeware rippers you’ll find via Google but it’s not possible to reverse the effects of MPEG-2 compression.

Yep. Though I’d also recommend footage that’s like what you’ll be using for real- in terms of content and format.
