    you’re right. fcp resamples on-the-fly to timeline’s.

    dude, i got avid’s input and output guide, and figured all things out.
    avid is old-fashioned, but still useful. fcp is very much exactly same. fcp 5 better than Adrenaline in all ways, if you have a text processor like Textedit at hand 🙂

    so, i marrried all with mixing environment. avid edl import is DEFINITELY WEAK. fcp rulez. hope, avid die soon, and younglings will forget about it existance.

  • maybe MM corrupts some headers… try to look on files with pro audio software, like iTunes =)

    simple answer: FCP is definitely better, smarter and logical than avid. but little bit less fool-proofed.
