you’re right. fcp resamples on-the-fly to timeline’s.

dude, i got avid’s input and output guide, and figured all things out.
avid is old-fashioned, but still useful. fcp is very much exactly same. fcp 5 better than Adrenaline in all ways, if you have a text processor like Textedit at hand 🙂

so, i marrried all with mixing environment. avid edl import is DEFINITELY WEAK. fcp rulez. hope, avid die soon, and younglings will forget about it existance.

but… its 24p project, so what happening with pulldown? i mean 23.98 vs 24 when telecine? files are 30 NDF…

maybe MM corrupts some headers… try to look on files with pro audio software, like iTunes =)

simple answer: FCP is definitely better, smarter and logical than avid. but little bit less fool-proofed.
