    1. how can i make glow spreading out from borders of layer – not limited by the layer DOD? in shake, when i adding, say, sapphire glow, to text layer, it always glows on a distance i set in parameters. in fcp, as in motion, glow is limited by text DOD. in fcp i creating nested layer and adding glow to it. i dont like this way to create, but it works. what about motion?

    2. i trying to control motion from my edirol pcr-1 keyboard, no sucess. as i read, motion’s filters can be controlled via midi using midi keyboard – so why it isnt work for me?

All the best, sorry for my english

You can use the layer’s Fixed Resolution parameter (click on the layer that has the the text in it in the Layer List and then select it’s tab in the Inspector) to do this. (In Motion 1, you could do this as Peter mentions in his link by putting a large transparent object in the Layer)

As for your MIDI KB, if you right click on a parameter and select the MIDI behavior, it should add the behavior to that parameter. It’s by default in learning mode so the first key or knob you twiddle should then control that parameter. Is that not the case with you?
