Not sure. Either you don’t have all plugins installed (some of the presets make use of the CC effects, so check that) or some of the expressions used in some of the presets break for whatever reason.

Yes, they do. It’s a lot less than on tubes, though, usually about 3-5%. It also depends on how the signal is fed in (there can be major differences between component and composite signals as well as between HDMI, VGA and other ways. It really depends. If you can, try to get a look at the display and maybe have them show you some stuff running on it. This should give you a good idea what gets cropped away.

Sure. But you can’t have both, well at least not without a little help. I believe it would be easily possible cobbling up a script for that, but I’m not aware that such a thing already exists. So maybe check the usual sources such as AEnhancers.com or nabscripts.com

Presumably you are somehow messing up sub-pixel placement of the layers in question. This would indeed make entire lines disappear if you are rendering with fields. So I’d check if the numerical values really correspond to what you intend to do. The only other thing I can think of is that the CoDec you are using for output somehow produces faulty results.

You could always add the items in question to the render queue, render out at half or quarter res and then use “Set Proxy”. The result and the process are pretty much the same…

Nope. What you describe falls into the secondary color correction category and can be achieved with other effects or combinations of effects, though.

That’s a known bug and there’s currently no solution. Yeah, it sucks, but you have to live with it for the time being.
