make multiple proxies at once

October 23, 2006 at 5:22 pmYou could always add the items in question to the render queue, render out at half or quarter res and then use “Set Proxy”. The result and the process are pretty much the same…

October 23, 2006 at 6:20 pmSure. But you can’t have both, well at least not without a little help. I believe it would be easily possible cobbling up a script for that, but I’m not aware that such a thing already exists. So maybe check the usual sources such as AEnhancers.com or nabscripts.com

October 23, 2006 at 10:18 pmI would create a Template for proxies that suits your requirements. Then simply select a footage in the Project Window and hit the key combo – CTRL+ALT+P. This sets the Render Queue ready with the proxy set to import as proxy for the selected clip. Quick and easy.
The only thing easier would be to do the script thing that Mylenium mentioned.
