In short NO. Premiere will transode those files and the file size will need to grow substantally allowing about 2-3 hours of video at marginal quality considering that the source files are already very highly compressed. Best to make multiple DVDs at 2 hours each.
Now if you just want to store video on DVDs you can just burn them to a blank as they are, but no DVD player playback. -
Try converting the file to Windows Media Video or Indeo 5.10 using VirtualDub (free) or any one of dozens of video converting apps. Dont expect much in the way of quality after converting and editing and exporting into yet another format.

There is a plug-in that will add timestamp to your movie…maybe someone will chime in on that. I simply overlay a small movie that does this. I have a 1 hr clip for free download on my web…under downloads.

My math (720 * .9 * 1.33(PAR) says 853 x 480, but I would not crop it in PS. I would create black bars in the titler to overlay the still, allowing you to reposition the still for best exposure.

With your timeline window selected, choose File>Export>Adobe Media Encoder. Change the “Format” to Windows Media, then choose the “Preset” “WM9 NTSC 1024K download” for local playback. And then “WM9 NTSC 256k download” for the web playback.

This is a bug I hope is fixed in the next version. Page down works fine, but End should go to the last frame of a clip, not the first frame of the next clip.

any other (than a camcorder) firewire devices attached to your PC? What are the properties of the AE video clip? What are your Premiere project settings?

Does the DV preview on an external monitor look normal? If yes, then try updating video card drivers and/or switching playback modes (Playback Settings) to “Use GDI”.

Your 1164 kbps is overkill for 320 x 240 using Windows Media Encoder 9, and way too big for streaming over the web. 400-500 kbps should be sufficient.
I dont think custom presets are saved as .vpr files…I searched all drives and found 274 files, but not one of the many custom presets I have made.
Try creating a custom preset 800 kbps, 320 x 240.
