Tell us a bit about your computer, its processor and drive configuration. Are you exporting to DV tape?

1. Try importing the original project into a new project.
Failing that;
2. Locate your “auto save” versions…there are 5 of them..try the newest one, you may have lost only 20 minutes. They may be located inside “Premiere Auto Save ” folder inside your project folder. -
You have experienced the curse of “reference files”…the .avi is simply audio plus reference to the video files located nearby. The absolute path to the reference files must remain exactly as they were captured including the drive letter.

You are right on…neither PAL not NTSC TVs display square pixels…only PC monitors do.

The folder should be like C:\Program Files\Adobe\Premiere Pro 2.0, but deleting it wont help (except to locate the .exe)…you need to get the demo up and running before you can do a good ininstall.

In Premiere 2.0 the mask does not need to be bigger than the screen. I have a tut on video2stream.com
All bets are off in previous versions of Premiere.

Its the 2.0 tryout that is giving you grief, it must be removed (add/remove programs). If it is gone, you may need to reinstall the demo and properly remove it.

Closest approach I can think of;
Navigate between marker by using the Ctrl plus left or right arrow keys and set work area bar using Alt plus left or right [] bracket keys.

If you are exporting to DV tape you can bypass the Export to Tape command and simply mannually start the cam recording and then hit the spacebar in Premiere.
