    Jan,
We would love to see the other footage.
I saw all the footage from DVX User, those
guys did a great job and I value there
opinions since they are DP’s and filmakers.
Will Panasonic have a site to download
WMV-HD of these other clips. Put an HVX-200
bug in the lower left and a Panasonic HD Logo
in the lower right. SOny has some HDV clips
encoded as WMV-HD. After Sony seems the HVX footage
they might take their HDV clips off-line!!

I got on the evs waiting list six weeks ago. They are promising to match the lowest price. They said they ordered 125 cameras but would not say what position I was in.
Nobody is promising specific delivery at a specific time. Look on e-bay Jan 1. I am sure people will sell there camera at a premium as soon as they get it.
    Kinda like the XBOX 360.

I don’t know if it will have a time lapse feature. For this kind of work you could do what I have done. My Nikon hooked up to a laptop using Nikon Capture Control will do the trick. Depending on location and battery life you could capture 3008×2000 and still have room to do some moves when creating a High Def file.

Matrox AXIO can do that as well???
I am on the fence between Matrox AXIO
    and an FCP HD system??
Waiting to see if PPro 2.0 is worth a crap.

My spot clients demand the overdriven distorted audio.
I have tried to show them for years where a proper audio level is. They complain when their spot airs and say “it’s not loud enough”. So I just crank it up and let the TV stations compress it back. So it’s not so much that editors or operators are responsible as much as the pinheads at the ad agency.

After the shoots, TC DVD window dubs are provided “free”.
Coming from a 60 min DV tape is no big deal. I put each
tape on it’s own DVD. Now if they want more than one I can
charge for that. It’s just a little extra I provide. Clients
hate being dimed & dollared to death.
