I can only confirm that I started having this issue after upgrading to PS CC.
I have re-started my computer and that has changed nothing.
I edit about 2 shows a week and each show has about 150 .png files that are 6000×4000.
As I edit I would go back into Photoshop to tweak certain photos…..
This workflow has changed for the worse until I can figure out what is going on.

I never had this problem until I upgraded the latest PS CC version.
So it’s weird that you are having the problem in PS 5.1?
Do you have PS CC installed?I was only having the problem if I edited a photo that was already in a storyline……
Yes I also was adding Ken Burns effects.
But if you edit a file after it is put in a storyline and then resize it with spatial conform set to none,
then you cannot re-edit the Ken Burns effect…… -
OK I found this…..
Spatial Conform……
Now you have to set to NONE and then everything is normal……

I has to be the last Photoshop CC update. I just installed 2014.2.2
Like I said, I did not have this problem until I updated PS.
I am running FCPX 10.1.4, PS CC 2014.2.2 & Yosemite 10.10.2.

If so you can make QT .movs from there.

Even better would be to Raylight all the files on each drive first…..
Just keep the file structure the same.
I do this all the time….
No capturing needed.
The only thing you won’t have is any rendered files.

https://www.dvfilm.com/raylight/mac/index.htmYou really need the whole P2 card copied….
If you just copied the Video folder of .MXF files you are screwed. -

July 11, 2010 at 5:28 am in reply to: p2 log and transfer only showing ONE p2 Data file… H E L P!Try re-naming the first folder to – P2_001
In that folder should be: CONTENTS
In the CONTENTS folder you should have:
AUDIO
CLIP
ICON
PROXY
VIDEO
VOICENow if you cannot import through L & T THEN:
Go buy RAYLIGHT from https://dvfilm.com/raylight/mac/index.htm
I don’t work for them but have only used RAYLIGHT since it was created.
Has saved my weeks – maybe years of transfer time…OK not years but you get
the idea….It writes a little .mov header from the .MXF file and then you can import
that into FCP and start editing. -
Don’t know why the YouTube Link was missing?

Scott:
Here is a test I did:
Direct from timeline – convert to H.264.mov then convert to .mp4 in QuickTime
7:40 minutes – took 10 min to encode, 145 megs using an iMac.https://www.izonemedia.net/960x540_test.mp4
For comparision here is the YouTube version:
https://www.youtube.com/mhsrv1#p/a/f/0/9bZ4BEBaCwM
(Just click 720p)
I upload a 720p .mp4 for YouTube.Look at my video page – most are .mp4 using FlowPlayer.

I don’t post .mov because many people on PC’s are still
QuickTime phobic and don’t even have QuickTime installed.
