You can always go into the playback/vcr mode, select multiple clips there and delete them en masse.
Just be sure you really want to delete the clips …

June 7, 2006 at 2:07 pm in reply to: Stop Motion Settings, slow shutter speed settings for blurThank you, Barry, for the follow up.
I did a search, and found your procedure for modifying the .txt scene file copied to and from the SD card.
Very clever, and it looks very straightforward. It just makes me wonder what other rabbits can be pulled out of this hat.
Can we buy stock in your HVX200 publishing empire?

June 6, 2006 at 6:21 pm in reply to: Stop Motion Settings, slow shutter speed settings for blurMaybe I’m missing something.
I thought that the “two frames per second” mode was Interval Recording, which is only available as a “VideoCam” setting.
And the “350-degree shutter” function is available only under “FilmCam” settings.
I AM missing something, ‘cuz I can’t get this to work.
Could you please step me through the menu items and setting adjustments for this potentially great camera set-up?
Barry, how can we buy your book when it comes out?

QT Pro will give him basic cut and paste for 30 bucks. You feed him the “master” clips, and he can cut these down to his heart’s content…
Not a bad way to put together highlight reels.

“Jittery pans” sounds like an interlace issue. You might try reversing the field order on your encode.
What version of M100 are you on?

I’d suggest running s-video out of the DSR-20 into the M100 directly, and not using the firewire route.
I’m not sure, but with this old version of software and LX, you still may not be able to adjust the input levels within the M-100 input levels control panel, but s-video will at least give you another option.

Dave:
I’m not familiar with your version of hardware or software, but I can tell you that the Keyspan serial-to-USB adapter works flawlessly on the Mac side with PVW 2800’s in OS 9 and OSX. It’s cheap enough too

Thanks Jeremy:
No, it happens at different places in a clip, and with different clips. Random.
It happens even if there are NO render files. It happens in capture and playback.
And all of the projects originate with FCP 5.0.2.
