SO I am gettign in the habbit of hitting the User button to mark the clips that I want to delete. I just don;t know how to delete them in one mass delete. I select view marked clips and they show up but I still have to delete them one at a time. What am I missing?

You can always go into the playback/vcr mode, select multiple clips there and delete them en masse.

Just be sure you really want to delete the clips …

[doka15] “I just don;t know how to delete them in one mass delete.”

OK. After you have selected them initially with the Marker tag while you are shooting, you go to the MCR mode and hit the menu button and go to “thumbnail”; click the “set” button (it is also the “Pause” button) and it will take you to a list of selection possibilities. You scroll down to the “Marked Clips” and then hit your “set” button again. That will put all the “Marked” thumbnails in the window. Now you hit the Menu button again and go to “Operation”; click the “set” button again and you will see “delete”. Click the “delete” with your “set” button and it will ask you if you want to delete all “X” clips. You will note that this X will be the number of the clips you have “Marked”. When you say “Yes”, all the marked clips will be deleted.
That sounds like a mass delete to me and I use it all the time.
