VistaVision is tracked in the Ink Number column. Go to the Film Settings first and set the Ink Number settings to Keykode and the “count” as vistavision. The ink numbers values entered after setting it as such will count as 8 frames per count.

Xpress DV cannot do 24.
XPress Pro can directly capture 24p ADVANCED over FireWire. You need to upgrade and select a 23.976 project type.

Yes, that is the only way to go as for QuickTime and a visible TC burnin.

Yes, all recent versions of FilmScribe are designed to work as standalone applications with full functionality for both Man and PC. All of the Avid Xpress Pro installers for OSX contain the FilmScribe installer. It is not part of the goodies folder but part of the main installer. Email me at michael@24p.com and I can get you a copy.

I don’t know… I don’t have that deck but I can ask around. FireWire itself is was never engineered to frame accurate so that may always be an issue.

Works fine with 5.0 and later. I own the camera and use it all the time. There is a template for it in deck conigurations.

Are you working with 1:1 resolution? If so, you need a Mojo.
