using xproHD5.1.6, I’m capturing video xfer from betasp, through mojo, of some VistaVision vfx plates.

Once I log the clips, I try to type the KN start, but when I do, the “feet” number is double what I typed. (or the last four digits of double what I typed).

    Am I doing something wrong?

I’m also having trouble getting the key numbers to “stick”. I type them in, hit enter, and nothing’s there. I tried exporting an .ale, editing it, and reimporting, but don’t get any options to choose the film format that way — frames count up to 15 before rolling over the footage count.

    any thoughts?

VistaVision is tracked in the Ink Number column. Go to the Film Settings first and set the Ink Number settings to Keykode and the “count” as vistavision. The ink numbers values entered after setting it as such will count as 8 frames per count.

I’ve been awfully busy the last couple weeks and neglected to thank you for the response.

    Thanks!
