The current timecode plug-in only counts at the frame rate of the timeline – so 23.976 will count as 24fps. The output will be 29.96 with 2:3 pulldown, the timecode will be 24fps but with pulldown. For example, when you are on NTSC timecode 00:00:00:29- the burn-in will say 00:00:00:23
There is no such thing as drop or non drop for 24fps, the current plug-in is really designed for video based projects and not for 24fps projects in a video world.

If in a 24p project, you want to come in AES/EBU at 1.00.

Are you cutting in a 24p project? If in a 30i, you can use fluidmotion to creation interlace from progressive formats.

Make sure that the OMF files are in the MediaFiles folder and the MXF files are in the Avid Mediafiles folder just as they were in the originating system.

Pretty much 10.5 an on. Later versions deal with higher track counts better.

I use on all the time. A basic $300 Philips version, but there are a lot models on the market. Make sure it has the I/O you need, mine came with svideo, composite, component, and DV (FireWire).

You want a 23.976 project type since that is the frame rate the camera is shooting.

Was the offline done at 30 and the online at 24? If onlining at 24 there is no concept of drop frame… more details needed on frame rates being used when…
