timecode burn on 23.97 xpress pro project
Hi
Im working on a 23.97 project in xpress pro, and i have to make an output with the timecode burn in, so output in 29.97 on minidv with a 23.97 burn in
now the problem is: the timecode effect can be set to drop or non-drop, but i cant choose between 30 or 24….
does somebody has encountered this problem?
What can i do to solve it?

The current timecode plug-in only counts at the frame rate of the timeline – so 23.976 will count as 24fps. The output will be 29.96 with 2:3 pulldown, the timecode will be 24fps but with pulldown. For example, when you are on NTSC timecode 00:00:00:29- the burn-in will say 00:00:00:23
There is no such thing as drop or non drop for 24fps, the current plug-in is really designed for video based projects and not for 24fps projects in a video world.
