It will sync with a 23.976 dub of the 1080, not 24.000. You will need to pull it up (speed up) by .1% to stay in sync.

If you turn it into a TIFF or other supported file, you can use the Pan & Zoom effect to animate it ala “Ken Burns” if desired. PDF is not directly supported as a format.

I do not beleive that deck outputs 2:3:3:2 advanced pulldown, so you should set it to 2:3:2:2 normal pulldown. Keep the “A” frame active as you do.

Are you not scaling on export from RED RUSHES? There is a fit to width, heigth when the 1920 x 1080 is selected. It will be a faster transcode if the movie size is already 1920 x 1080.
Also, look to the new REDCINE-X tha exports MXF/DNxHD directly.

Hmmm…. if you still had the original P2 files, you could run it thrugh MXFX tool and turn it into a 720p/59.94 with pulldown. With .mov files, and not having the ability to move to v4, you could always open them in After Effects, apply a 2:3 pulldown and create new .mov files at the 59.94 rate.
