importing text documents into AVID timeline
I’m working on a documentary on Avid Media Composer and I have a newspaper article that I would like to have appear on the screen as it’s referenced, how do I import the text document into the AVID so that I can then add it into the documentary footage?
I was going to have my DP literally film the newspaper article, but he said it’s possible to just upload a PDF file into the AVID and add it to the documentary that way, but I’m having trouble with that approach. Any suggestions? -

If you turn it into a TIFF or other supported file, you can use the Pan & Zoom effect to animate it ala “Ken Burns” if desired. PDF is not directly supported as a format.
