I am having qc issues with a DNxHD quicktime export. The post house handling the qc is telling me that when they import into their FCP System the black lvls are at 10ire and higher. Any ideas on what can be causing this? Perhaps a quicktime i/o setting? Is it an RGB vs 709 colorspace issue? The quicktime file plays back fine and looks great on my AVID system. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Brian, it happens the same to me.I apply a color correction in fcp with these values:

    highlights +280
    mids +100
    blacks -28

    Somebody has another solution?

    Thanks
    Migue

I think FCP assumes everything is RGB? This might help in a related way:
