Can you post the exact wording of the error?
Maybe I can find something for you, I’m not sure though.

You need the codecs, download them from the codecs section on the website I linked to above.

Try deleting the Title 3D pref file:
The preference file is named “com.borisfx.Title 3D”.
It is located at: Macintosh HD> Users>
> Library> Preferences -
Get info on the QT file, does it tell you the codec?
