I have some old files created in Media 1oo. I tried to play them in Quicktime and was prompted that additional quicktime components were required for the playback. I need to edit this old footage for a video. Any ideas??

I also tried to get them in using MPEG Streamclip and the video just came up with all white frames???

    they are -250 quicktime clips???

    Thanks

Media 100 is now owned by Boris FX. You should see if Boris has a legacy codec for you to download.

Get info on the QT file, does it tell you the codec?

If it’s Media100 you can find them on the M100 downloads page:

You need the codecs, download them from the codecs section on the website I linked to above.
