Oh I got you now. It might help if you make the track nice and big in the timeline but I agree that the viewer is nice waveform-wise.

I can’t quite understand why you are marking rather than just “ctrl v,ing” in the first place as an earlier responder pointed out.

copy and paste will be your friends, you can paste just content, I think this should leave your keyframes, if not you can paste motion.

You can do it in motion. How long it will take will depend on how long the shots are. I assume the chair doesn’t move so you are only going to be working on the area where he overlaps the chair. The less he moves the easier it will be.

I don’t know if this would apply to you but … I have had issues where just the transitions have been rendered with the wrong field dominance. I think this particularly can happen if you paste a sequence into a sequence with a different field dominance. You might search the cow forums, I found one link https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/8/973465 Previously I found a really good discussion but of course I can’t find it now. I hope this helps.

Avid is pretty good for this too, even without tracking the paint tool is easy to key-frame and can be made to blur or mosaic.

Not so. With no track selected you can add a marker to the timeline and with a clip in a track selected you can add another. Easy.
