Multiple timeline markers in same position
Does anyone know of a way to place two timeline markers at the exact same location? I have done this by accident (two markers were combined with a ripple delete), but cannot seem to do it intentionally.
I work in animation and use the markers to designate clips as “shots” and then a range of shots as “sequences”. The marker info gets pulled from an XML to cut up the Quicktime.

The most you can actually add is one per frame.

Not so. With no track selected you can add a marker to the timeline and with a clip in a track selected you can add another. Easy.

You’re talking about adding a clip marker – only one can be added per frame within a clip. Tom is asking about 2 sequence markers on the same frame, which you cannot do.
When you export a sequence, only the sequence (Timeline) markers would be part of the XML that Tom’s after.
