Mick, I can’t see what the problem is. I just imported some jpgs numbered 0001.jpg, 0010.jpg, 0099.jpg, 0100.jpg, 0300.jpg, and they sort just as you would expect when you click the name column.
Matt.
Hi, as far as I can remember you cannot animate the animatte if you use the paint brush tool. If you draw round the cat using the polygon tool you can then add keyframes and adjust each point. The trick is to add loads of points as if you add more later it can muck up previous keyframes. For a complicated shape like a cat you might want to use something else. Alternatively you might be able to pull a key from the cat (depending on colour).
Good luck. Matt.
You can do it all in Marquee. It is rather an opaque tool and many people seem to give up at the first hurdle. I have made many complex text animations for broadcast with Marquee. Once you “save to bin” your title is a video file so further manipulations will degrade your title. If you want to work this way, save your title to bin as large as possible and then shrink it and re-expand it in your timeline. There is a time-line in Marquee and you can have as many layers as you want, fades, moves, grows etc. are all possible. There is a tutorial here https://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-create-titles-with-avid-marquee-title-tool-78823/view/ Good luck!
Matt (back on Avid after 6 years).
