Here’s an odd one and not sure where to ask this. I have a completed wedding and it plays fine on the timeline but when I burn a copy to DVD for the client to watch there are weird pauses and skips. Tried it a few times and they are always in the same places which ruled out the blank media. Any ideas?

I’ll bet you did one or both of the following two things:

    1) you fiddled with the bitrate and raised it up beyond the default in the preset

    2) you did not use the AC3 preset and you created you DVD with PCM audio

If you did one or both of the following then you most likely have exceeded you set top player’s overhead for DVD playback, hence the skipping.

Most likely it is your bitrate and/or you are using PCM audio instead of ac3 audio. And it can be your media also. It doesn’t have to be just one thing. But since you have but no real info it is hard to say.

I think we need an “un-reverb” filter.

Very, very smooth… You may be a little behind, but you’re in excellent form Michael.

As far as other info is concerned it is 1hr16mins. Nothing too complex as its just a wedding.
