Ok … making 2 trim settings with 0 for pre-roll or post roll seems to work. Is that the best/only way and can I assign settings to a key or button?
Many thanks, Matt.
I can’t think quite how but couldn’t you stabilize some hand-held footage and then apply those settings to some non-hand-held footage and get the reverse effect?
Matt.
Shane is probably your man for that sort of question. I’m not sure what time it is in California though. Have you tried the usual preference trashing and so on? If you haven’t got it preference manager is a useful free download.
Good luck, Matt.
Hi Shane, Dylan. I don’t think that is it. I quickly made a prores 422 timeline, put some text in it and exported it Animation Millions + and then re-imported it to FCP and AE and the Alpha is fine. Not your work-flow exactly but close enough?
Matt.
Personally I think Episode would be rather an expensive option. Maria you already have Compressor and DVSP if you have FCP 7. You could invest in Flip 4 Mac (circa $29) which will let you convert to WMV inside Compressor. You could also use Compressor’s auto detect feature (https://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/whats-new.html#compressor) with a clip supplied by your client to create a preset which should be playable by your client.
Good luck, Matt.
