I usually go with Helveica at 17pt in livetype. I position it so that the last line of the disclaimer has the horozontal title safe line running right through the middle of it. That’s about as far down as I’ll like to push it. And I always stay between the virticle title safe. I’ve done hundreds of spots (in dozens of markets) with disclaimers this way and non of them have had to be changed

I’d toss it into motion. Especially if you were planning to have the newspaper spin and grow at the same time. In FCP you can’t get the Scale and other properties to ease together (ie it’ll be done growing but still be spinning slightly). In motion it’s easy.

We’ll do TGA sequences (use to do SGI sequences) from FCP to our smoke, and it works fine. The only problem is that he brings it into smoke it’s all gonna be 1 clip, so he’ll have to break it up a billion times to do the CC.

I was thinking something like that. Also was gonna Color code my screw holding containers to coincide with the colors on ifixit’s website.

Actually I’m pretty sure Wal-mart employees are useless in whatever city you live in. I don’t shop there very much as I don’t like to support them, but I have to go pick something up occasionally. As i don’t shop there, I don’t know where things are. On average, it takes me 15 minutes and 3 employees to finally get pointed to the area I need to be in.

When I read your OG post, I wondered if apple and worked some contracting magic by telling best buy the only way they can sell the iphone is if they have apple ministores on the inside. that way apple can not only sell it’s phones there but also all of it’s computers.

So does this mean that Best Buy will also hae apple certified repair people? I just ordered a new hard drive for my 12″ powerbook G4 and was going to do the pretty complex install myself via directions on the internet. Id much rather have someone who knows what they are doing take care of it. I know from experience I’m gonna end up with extra screws at the end.

It’s not recomended to capture this way. As the camera and FW hard drive are sharing the same FW bus. The footage is being sent in through the cable and back out through the same cable into the drive. If you are using a desktop computer Get a second internal drive for your media.

It’s always been my understanding that it is only displaying one field, which is one of many reasons you need an NTSC monitor.
