Hi.
My problem is that i can build my self even 16 drives unit
with 3ware.
It has web based UI wich also sends messages with email and so on.
So lets say 8 drives in mirror with 8 drives raid 0.
It should give pretty decent speed as claimed.
Optional is to use 750 GB seagate drives. In theory 6 TB mirrored.Maybe guys in BM have tested 3ware PCIe new controllers.

Hi.
A bit offtopic but can enyone compare Dell vs MAC monitors.
As I see here in my location Dell gives same performance but 25% less price.
Dell 30″ (11ms) seems even faster than Apple’s 30″Eny comments on that ?
I’m trying to set up such setup but have not desided which monitor.
I have PC stations.Margus.

Maybe you could check framerate and format in Dec Control under Edit > Prefs

I do not know if I’m doing something wrong.
I use PC and Premiere Pro 1.5. Proc amp do not seem to have eny effect.
Here you can see my test result.
Brighter half is original from Premiere timeline.
Darker half is from Beta tape exported from timeline original.
It seems to me:
1. I do not know how to use proc amp …
I did turn it up to maximum 1,7 db (both values)
2. My beta is calibrated wrong and output is 75% or something like that.
3. worse case … betas input is wrong 🙁I remember when I got it some tuning we did but on Y/C only I presume.

No I got so far as if my premiere works then it is ok.
When I shut it down appears Error 93 on betacam.Is this normal ?
