    Hi,

When i create a BMD Porject with DV Encoder setting and i make a dissolve in the timeline
i get a strange picture in the sequence monitor, please take a look at:
    ftp://24898-pinguintv:6530487@pinguintv.de/Pic1.jpg
The video-out on the preview monitor is okay.
I get this green picture on when the timeline is paused.

When i push play the picture on the sequence monitor is okay
    ftp://24898-pinguintv:6530487@pinguintv.de/Pic2.jpg

Am i the only one with this “feature”, or is this a bug for everyone?

    Thanks for any suggestions

Yes, same here on the latest Windows drivers. I emailed a sequence of screen grabs to Blackmagic a week ago, but hear anything more about it.

I suspect it’s some sort of mismatch between 24/32bit YUV/RGBA data required/supplied, hence the pattern isn’t vertically aligned, and the green lines are alpha information (which should have been removed) being interpreted as colour information.

    Am I anywhere close?

    Hi Claus-Peter,

Can you tell me if this is PAL or NTSC material? We had seen something like this with 16:9 material but yours looks like 4:3. Can you confirm it is 4:3? We have a pre-release driver which might fix this and so it would be great if you could confirm the details so we can check this bug is fixed. Thanks for the excellent screenshots which told us almost everything we needed to know.

    Hi Claus-Peter,

Andrew has checked this in the pre-release DeckLink 5.2.3 drivers and the good news is it appears to be fixed. If you are desperate for the fix we could seed you the pre-release version but there are some other bugs in the pre-release version so you might want to wait for the release version.

    Hi Luke,

my project is a 5.2.2 BMD DV 4:3 PAL.
I had also some problems with BMD DV clips that i imported in
    a 8-bit project.
When i made a dissolve with 2 dv clips there was a half field error in the dissolve.
I think it might be the same bug like the “green screen” in a DV project,
but i wanted to tell you.

    I don

    Hi,

I’m a new member here, i just purchased a decklink hd pro 4:4:4
It seems that i also have problems with the 5.2.2 drivers in ppro!

It would be very nice for me to review the beta drivers because i have a 5 day money back guarantee on the card from my reseller!

I want to test the drivers and hope that most of the problems are gone then, so i can keep the card 🙂

Could anyone please send me the link to the 5.2.3 drivers please?

    THANKS!!

    Dimi.
