I would go with Combustion keyer.

In theory uncompressed would be ideal for key (4:4:4 RGB)

you copy stuff from P2 card and import it to FCP.
then edit as usually with video ?
and output with DL HD.

Ho does P2 workflow work on mac?
Material has to be converted or can it be used directly ie.
material stays in its native P2 format in fcp but shows through
BM board.

Hi.

I think i will be this editor. Now i use DL Extreme with prem pro.
Future might bring P2 material and there as i underestand mac
has advantages but is not true uncompressed what i seek.

My goal would be Multibridge but i do not know how to integrate
P2 if it comes. With SDI input it seems clear and there is just
if edit with prem on fcp.

Other problem is there how to make field recorder so to say.
Machine that takes SDI from lets say canon camera and records
it to HDD directly. With P2 it is simpler there.

Eny ideas?

I visited BM website and saw 3ware controller as supported.

So I have my question cleared now. 🙂

Some friends of mine use 3ware on large web servers
with big load.

What does BM guys think of 3ware on PCIe?
