DL Extreem and Sony UVW-1800p sync
Hi.
I do not get my betacam in sync with DL … it wants refference signal.
I found in DL manual that there is possibility to use
DL card to provide a stable black signal to the deck.
How do I do that?Is this only for capture or can I use this as sync for
seeing my material on tv trough betacam.Or maybe I just have to get black generator.
With card I used to have I got sync from
composite video out to Betacam and it gave nice refference video.I also have Kramer transcoder but it does not give eny signal by itself. I tryed to feed signal from consumer DVD player to it but this did not help 🙁
Any ideas?

Attach the B-Y & R-Y cables from DLink to your Betacam SP deck as usual, but take the Y component cable and instead of connecting it to the Y component input, run it instead to the ‘reference’ video input. There are two of these reference video BNCs, one above the other. Now attach the DLink Y to the bottom ‘reference’, then attach a separate short bnc cable from the top ‘reference’ bnc back to the Y component input. You have now essentially looped the Decklink Y through the reference input and should be set.

Hi.
I have ref in 2 sideways bnc connectors and 2 under them with labeled video.
I connected Y to ref in and short bnc to video > Y and timecode on my monitor diasapears.Did I do it wrong?
I even tryed Y to ref in and the other in the side from ref to Y but … no timecode also.

No I got so far as if my premiere works then it is ok.
When I shut it down appears Error 93 on betacam.Is this normal ?
