    Hi,
You will need to render the files as quicktime out of the Juicer using the animation codec @ millions of colours +(alpha channel). Then import into Media 100 and drop on graphics track. You can then position and/or scale using the Media 100 editor.
    Hope this helps.

The solution I got was from M100 tech support. Try this link although it says 844X, it worked for me with beta sp.

Hi, I had a similar problem with betasp. Try setting the deck to the “head on” position, this is where the video will always be displayed.
    Hope this helps.

It worked fairly well on my 12″ G4 1.33GHz with 1.25 GB ram. I had a Lacie Porche drive. I think it was with draft quality media though.

An analoge /digital converter box might help until it all gets sorted out. Promax and Miranda comes to mind as makers of these boxes. I have used one successfully for the past few years digitizing to a off-line windows system that only uses firewire from my beta sp and dvcam decks.
    Hope this helps.

August 7, 2005 at 7:37 pm in reply to: Media 100 SW Question

I have been able to play 80kb draft with SW on my 12″ G4 powerbook with 1.25g ram, Lacie Porche firewire 400 drive. Just have not tried higher data rates. I exported as an edl and then conformed on our Media100 HD quite successfully. Like posted above, if you are working on Media100i as your main system, you should only work with coppies of your bins and programes just incase you need to go back to Media100i with them.

There is a software waveform/vectorscope in Media100 SW, I think there is one in HD also. I am not sure how it measures up to real-world ones though….
