    Has anyone been using the beta software on a iMac G5?
    I would think most of the problems using the G4 have to do with the fact that you need at least 2gb of ram to actualy work with the system in a normal manner. At least that’s been my experience with m100HD. You need 1gb just to open the program.

    I use SW on a Dual 1.42G4 with 2gb ram and it works fine. Maybe the ram issue is why it doesn’t work on my laptop.

    I sucessfully edited with the beta version on my 12 powerbook G4 with 1.24gigs ram. Was only a 5 minute piece. Had a Lacie porche firewire400 drive.
