April 27, 2007 at 12:16 pm in reply to: which drives for fcp 5.1.4?

    Hi Toni

    Thanks for your help

    I have FCP 5.1.4 installed
    Aja I/O Version 3
    and Pro control 1.1

It seems to read the digi beta and sees a signal present in the control panel but when I go to FCP it just says the video is disabled in the capture window

It can control the deck but not picture out. I just bought two of them and both have the same problem. is it something I am doing wrong?

    Thanks for your help

    Paul

I’m not sure on the K2 servers

I don’t think GVG have changed the codecs for these only made them more stackable in terms of drives, a bit like Omneon.

But it does work with Profiles as it’s used with them here

    Editshare is your best bet

Have seen it in other facilites and blown away by the price of it compared to a complete xsan system

You can mount windows and mac clients onto the system and have unlimited clients.

    Alfredo

This was not meant to be after effects v combustion

we were talking about paint modules, hence the subject!

I had heard of this plug-in some guy i know was using it in after effects.

seems like the best option to buy bott the roto and paint and use Combustion for everything else with the automatic duck export. You are right Le Coyote about combustion they are the best however for quick access to media for simple fixing this might be the way to go.

now if this set up is 25 k compared to 100 + plus for HD nitris, I dont mind an occasional drawback!
