Just want to know of any recommendations for the hdlink as far as lcd monitors go.
Can I hook up a plasma or an lcd tv which says it has hdmi resolution of 1920 x 1080 or best

August 23, 2006 at 12:30 amThanks Bob
I think the folks at barefeats boasted about that one. I was hoping for something in the 32 inch size
and came across a viewsonic which claims 1920 x 1080 with hdmi connection. This is a tv per se and
doesn’t indicate its “native resolution” which I assume is what its all about. It is just over $1000 .
Just wondering how to determine what specs to go by, native resolution or the claims of the manufacturer?thanks

August 23, 2006 at 6:08 pmFor that price it’s probably got 720 physical resolution. true 1080p LCD televisions are expensive… and you gotta make sure they’ll accept 1080p HDMI and not just 1080i.

The viewsonic does say it supports 1080i not 1080p
Basically I think Bob’s suggestion appears to be the best option,
although I guess I can try the viewsonic and if it doesn’t cut it, just return it.The 30 inch Dell seems to be good as well, just lots more coin
