Another cause could be that you used a trial codec in your avis, and that trial period expired.

Sounds like either your files are corrupted, or more probably you have a codec problem.
Didn’t you install anything right just before this happening?Try to copy one of your avis to another machine to see if they work there.
You could try reinstall vegas, or you could try a system restore to a date when everything worked fine.

No other guess at the moment 😉

    Hope I could help somehow

    Hi,

I had similar problem years ago, the solution was to install the FHG Radium mp3 codec, and choose that one.

That was long ago, so i can’t remember where I downloaded it from; google for it, or contact me private if you want me to post it to you (kovacsltmeister at gmail dot com).

    Hi,
this is definitely not an offical technical support, but a forum to help people each other related to Vegas.
So, you’re on the right way 😉

To your question: I don’t know of a way to show the date/time as you ‘d like to. But Paul Glagla’s DVDate will do it for you.
    You’ll find it here: https://paul.glagla.free.fr/dvdate_en.htm

It will show you the date/time info, also it can place it on top of video as inlay.

    Hope I could help

    Regards

    Thanks Rick for the correction.
In fact I never needed supersampling, just read about it.

May I miss something… isn’t supersampling for TIME?
(I mean interpolating frames when slo-mo?)

I’ think you should tell your client the quaility problem. Anyway, I’d stretch the 320*240 to full frame, render a piece out and show it to the client: this is how it’s going to look like.
If he/she asks why it’s so terrible, you can explain.
Maybe next time you’ll be asked not only editing, but shooting their interviews 😉

    Google for “mercalli”.
It’s a deshaker. Since I’m using Vegas6, I couldn’t try it. But one of my friend using edius found it great. I guess it does the same with vegas, but works only with v8, not v6.

    Hope this helps.
