I’ve got a big problem with Sony Vegas 7. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it has always worked fine. But now, all of a sudden, avi files aren’t recognized anymore. The WMV and WMA files work perfectly, but sadly, I use avi files the most. When I open my saved video with Vegas, it says media offline. When I try to make a new video and I drag avi files into a track, only the audio shows. Though I didn’t change any settings! What do I do, what do I do? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like either your files are corrupted, or more probably you have a codec problem.
Didn’t you install anything right just before this happening?Try to copy one of your avis to another machine to see if they work there.
You could try reinstall vegas, or you could try a system restore to a date when everything worked fine.

No other guess at the moment 😉

    Hope I could help somehow

    Regards

Another cause could be that you used a trial codec in your avis, and that trial period expired.
