It’s possible that:

1) Cable is defective, too long or of bad quality.

2) Potential defective Intensity Pro card. (you’ll need to swap it out)

Have you tried another HDMI cable or the current HDMI cable with another device like the output of a camera or something?

If you use Media Express to play something out? Do you get anything?

View > External Video in Final Cut Pro set to “All Frames”?

The current LUT formatwe support are Discreet’s 3dl and Iridas CUBE (.itx).

We don’t support cinecube as yet but we can look into it.

If the Mac has PCI-Express, it will work regardless of it being G5s or Intel Macs.

Unfortunately, no. We have not incorporated ProRes playback in Blackmagic Deck Control as yet.

I would agree with Del. It sounds like a reference issue so check that your deck is set to Input Video as the reference source.

Hi,

Yes, this is the right setting. Your best bet is to use the easy setups we’ve provided to configure you’re timeline. In this instance, you’ll be using “Blackmagic HDTV 1080p 24 – DVCPRO HD”.
