I’m outputting a feature to digibeta and I’m getting random audio distortion and drop-outs. I believe the cables to be good. I’m outputting via the “Edit to Tape” function using 4-channel audio embedded in the sdi video. There’s no Embedded audio xlrs for this card, just 2 analog I believe. I even tried monitoring the audio on the deck, it sounds fine coming in, but when I play it back the audio is sometimes crunchy and even dropped out for a few seconds at one place. It seems that the audio is recorded distorted for a few minutes then clean for a few, back and forth. I just updated to the latest decklink driver, 6.2.2. Still no luck.

    any ideas?

Sound like a sync issue. Make sure the DBC is on “input ref” and daed patch the input to the BM card..

    Hi Jamie,

I would agree with Del. It sounds like a reference issue so check that your deck is set to Input Video as the reference source.
