Can you specify exactly what version of drivers you’re running? Sometimes, you may think it’s current but it’s actually not the case.

Mini Converter SDI to HDMI. This will take the SDI/HD-SDI output from your HD Extreme and convert that to HDMI.

This has to do with EDID negotiation between the HDLink Pro and the monitor. The monitor is tell HDLink Pro that it’s preferred frame rate for 1920×1080 is 60Hz so HDLink sends that to it.

Hi Rob,

You mentioned that the crashes happen when using those plugins so I would be looking at them first. Possible extract the crash log and send them to the manufacturers so that they can have a look. It may reveal something which points to the crash.

Hi,

You’re better off with the DeckLink Studio card for US$695 RRP if you can stretch your budget a bit more. For output to a BetaSP deck to broadcast networks, you really want something with RS422 deck control for frame accurate layback to tape.

Not right now, I’m afraid.

We currently support 2048×1556 which is full 2K resolution over a single 3Gb/s SDI connection.

If you send this output to a HDLink Pro, then you’ll be able to send it to the 30″ Display.
