    Hi Marcin,

If you have a newish Mac Pro, chances are it will have PCI Express slots. You’ll need to make sure the DeckLink SP you’re getting has PCI Express slots as we make a version for PCI slots as well.

October 11, 2009 at 11:21 pm in reply to: Intensity Pro Capture, no picture/sound at all

    Hi Thermi,

The first thing to check will be your video input settings in the Windows Control Panel > Blackmagic. Your old Intensity card has only HDMI inputs while Intensity Pro has HDMI and analog component. As such, you will need to tell the hardware which of the inputs to use.

Unlike the Xbox360, the HDMI output of the Playstation 3 is encrypted for both movies and gaming output so you will not be able to capture it using Intensity Pro.

Try that first and see how you go.

October 11, 2009 at 11:17 pm in reply to: Where can I find the 10-bit codec only?

    Hi Thomas,

You can download without registering. Just click on the Download Now button instead of the Register & Download button.

That said, the codecs we include in our drivers are the Apple Uncompressed 10-bit codecs which are compatible with the Blackmagic 10-bit codecs you’re used to.

    Hi Matt,

One other thing you need to check, like what Bob has mentioned, is the output settings of the D5 deck. It can be configured to output different framerates so you’ll need to make sure that it is correct.

Also, which Blackmagic Design card are you using and what versino of our drivers do you have installed?

The D5 can also output 1080p as PsF so you should try setting it to that and see if it helps.

“No Input” on the capture screen is an indication that you’re running a very old driver as we don’t have that indication in our recent drivers.
