Hi Jon,

The usual way to adjust levels is via our DeckLink preferences as this will be done via hardware. This is why the Final Cut Pro adjustments are greyed out. However, there is no Pro Amps adjustment in the Multibridge Extreme. This will be coming soon in. The estimated timeframe I’ve been given is about 3-4 weeks.

We’ve tested this with the latest driver and it’s fine. May I suggest upgrading to that driver (v5.6.1) which you can find on our site here:

Hi,

UMID is an unique label for identifying media files and streams. It will not affect operation when turned off. You should be fine. 🙂

Just wondering, you are installing from the mounted disk image and not copying the installer files off the disk image before installing right?

Hi Arjen,

Turn off UMID in your VTR menu options. You should be able to capture from the deck then.

It’s also strange that the 5.6 drivers do not recognise the card. Does the DeckLink Preferences work when these drivers are installed? Are you on an user account with admin rights?

Hi,

We do not scale 720p video with the HDLink so you’ll not be able use the full screen estate of your 24″ display.

Your SATA driver will not be able to handle uncompressed HD at 8-bit. You’ll require some sort of disk array for uncompressed HD.
