Hi Kevin,

DeckLink Pro card? Not DeckLink HD Pro?

The DeckLink Pro is a standard definition card. It will always down convert your HD clip to your SD on output. That is why the option to turn down conversion on is greyed out.

Hi,

The Mac’s internal audio runs on a seperate clock from the card’s. This is why you’re getting sync issues. Please monitor audio off the DeckLink Extreme card instead and you should be fine.

it’s using the Blackmagic or Apple uncompressed codec. You cannot play a Quicktime movie that is in the “Uncompressed” format.

What is the exact specification of your HDV footage? 1080? 720? What frame rate is it?

What version of our drivers do you have installed?

Are you on Xp32 or xp64?

As for the source code of Blackmagic Deck Control, sorry we can’t do that. 🙂

Hi,

Unfortunately, you cannot use DVCPRO HD on the PC. Your options are basically uncompressed 10-bit or 8-bit for HD work.

Hi,

Actually, I might be wrong. Turn on hardware down conversion and use the SDI B output to connect to you SD monitor. This way, you can monitor SD via SDI and HD via DVI.

Sorry, no way to selective disable the desktop output. You can turn it off completely using the option in the DeckLink Preferences.
