    When they say the Blackmagic cards are uncompressed, are they using a Blackmagic uncompressed codec or can I playback a truly uncompressed Quicktime or AVI?

    it’s using the Blackmagic or Apple uncompressed codec. You cannot play a Quicktime movie that is in the “Uncompressed” format.
