Thanks for the clarification! I think I got a similar effect using Cloner with Random Effector. You can use more letters, then in the Cloner, you will limit the number of letters depending on your text, so that you will get more randomness.

Hi Tarn,

I think the problem is that you are trying to do it in the Polygon Mode. Change to Point Mode make sure that the shape is selected then hold Ctrl when you want to cut like in the video below and try again.

I hope that will fix your problem.

Hi Richard,

It should be in the create menu or toolbar under generator, as in the attached screenshot. If you do not find it there for some reason, click Shift & C, then type in the search box “vector import”, and you will get it. You can still contact Maxon to report this defect in your version.

I have updated the files for you, only for the files that contain the COFFEE Effector I have been made two copies one for R19 and the other for the recent versions, because the COFFEE Effector is no longer supported after R19, however, you can still get it as a plugin from the internet.

Hi Tarn,

All you have to do is click on Collision then go to Advanced and make sure that the Size value is 1 cm. I explained in the video below how a high value can cause a problem like what happened to you
