    Hi Jessica,

I don’t think there’s a way to reverse the reging and weights. I think you have to build each part separately, especially with the differences between the front and back legs. As for achieving a rebounding movement for the tails and ears, that varies depending on the required walking posture.

    Hello Kevin!
You could move it by clicking on the formula, then in the panel below, select the User Data menu. Below you will find the formula’s properties which will help you with the various movement you want. I’m not sure if this is the type of undulating you’re looking for, but I tried moving the waves as in the file attached by changing the Wave Height value each time from a positive to a negative value and vice versa, then recording it on the Timeline. I hope this is helpful, and let me know if you encounter any other problems.

That’s fantastic! You’ve perfectly replicated the image and its animation. Congratulations! Did you use the same techniques I mentioned, or did you add something else? just so everyone could benefit.

    Hi Jessica,

I think that because the UV Mode is enabled for some reason in your version, you could disable it by clicking on the icon at the top of the screen. If the icon isn’t there, go to UVEdit Mode and disable the icon from there. Then return to the Standard Mode and continue working. I’ve tried to explain how to fix this in both scenarios in the screen recording below. I hope this is helpful.

    Hi Ronny,

I tried to simulate and animate the image using the Displacer Deformer and Cloner. I explained how it works in the video below and attached a sample file. You still need to refine the shape and apply suitable materials to achieve a result that more closely resembles the original image. I hope this is helpful.

  • Hi René,

Global Ilimination simulate how light reflects off surfaces, adding realistic using indirect lighting and soft shadows Instead of only accounting for light coming directly from the source. Therefore, the loss of specular when using GI is likely due to something in the scene envirenement is affecting the reflected light.
