  • Hi Paul,

I’m not very familiar with the Take System and I don’t like using it, but I think any item can be deleted by simply selecting the Take , then selecting the item in the group, and then pressing the delete button, since right-clicking doesn’t do anything here. I don’t know about version S22, but this works in newer versions as well as in versions older than S22. The problem might be specific to this version.

    Hello Hans,

Thank you for sharing the file with us! I’ve reviewed it, but I haven’t been able to pinpoint the source of the problem, especially with so many components and Expresso tags. I don’t know if this issue was already present in the Preset Animation file or if it appeared after some modifications were made.

    Hi Hans,

I think the problem might not be clear before checking the file, but it is assumed that the preset is not related to the problem because, as its name suggests, it is attached to clothing, so the problem is in the riging movement before applying the preset to the body.

I tried to simulate your scene’s using various effects, and the motion and other effects remained the same; I didn’t need to re-upload the audio file. The problem might be with the version you’re using, and it seems to have been resolved in newer versions, as it was for me. Alternatively, the issue might be with the version on your device itself due to missing system files. You can check this by opening your file in another computer, or you can simplify the file by deleting anything you don’t want to share with us. I’ll examine the simplified file to determine the cause of the problem. I hope this helps.

I apologize in advance if I didn’t understand, but I see in the video that when you opened the file, the audio file was in its place and didn’t need to be re-loaded. Please correct me. Secondly, does this problem only occur with WAV files? Have you tried other formats?

    Hi Andrew,

You shouldn’t need to re-load the audio file every time. I don’t recall ever having to. I tested it again, as in the recording below, and the audio file remained in place even after closing the program. Your files might have some specific settings. If you could share an example of a file where this problem occurred, that would be helpful.

  • With pleasure, Eddy! Since you’re using Cloth Object, we can do this using Bake as Alambic and then extract the keyframing using Bake Object. I try to explained this in the screen recording below; I hope this is what you’re looking for.

  • Regarding the hierarchy, you can put everthing under a Connect Object and then perform the operation as shown in the screen recording below. We can say that this solution is weak if there’s a way to do this with a single click, like some plugins. Even plugins might need some adjustments to work properly. Therefore, I think baking using “Bake Object” in the dopesheet is one of the best methods so far and has solved problems for many people on this forum and elsewhere. Please share with us if you find any other more effective methods.

  • Hi Guillaume,

I’m glad the problem is solved for you. Please send me the file before you make the elements editable; we might be able to learn something from this.

  • Hi Eddy,

It’s supposed you used bake as Alambic or exported to fbx but it didn’t work for you, especially with the Deformers in your scene. I think without a plugin you might be able to do it throught the dopesheet and the ‘bake objects’ option. I tried to explain this in the screen recording below; I hope this is helpful.
